Holiday Mini Session
What
Holiday sessions are a great way to update your family photos each year. Don't have children? You are welcome to use these sessions however you like... couple's session, maternity session, pets, mini-engagement session, etc. And most locations are pet friendly!
Mini session includes twenty minutes at a park within Laguna Beach (TBD), one high resolution image of your choice fully retouched (skin smoothing, blemish removal, etc) for your personal use (holiday cards, prints on your wall), and two additional selections edited but not retouched.

Cost and What You Get
$150 for your mini session and three full resolution digital downloads. All images will be edited for color and clarity. One image of your choice will be fully retouched for blemishes, skin smoothing, etc (additional retouches available for $25 per image).

Follow this LINK to the online scheduling page. Select and book your preferred time. There are a limited number of available slots, so please sign up early!
On the day of the shoot
Important!
In order to have the most time with each family, please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment. I will have back to back sessions and need to end at the scheduled time.
Clothing:
The most important thing to look for in the clothing you choose is that it fits well and lays well. Check to see that when you lift your arms, lean, bend or hug it doesn't pop buttons or bunch up. Look out for bra straps showing. Families can coordinate by choosing level of formality a pleasing pallet of colors. No need for everyone to match exact clothes. There is no rule to this, just so they look harmonious and not clashing. You can bring something fun too, wooly hats and bright scarves make fun holiday cards.
Small children:
Make sure children are fed and well rested. Don't make it a big deal, but let them know that tomorrow you'll be going to the photographer and how we're going to have fun and make pretty pictures. A little reward for good behavior can be a good thing (go to the playground, a movie, ice cream parlor...) Be involved! Parents who laugh, sing, dance along with us really help bring out the smiles and good moods.
Grooming:
If you normally wear makeup, I suggest a bit more to bring out your features. If you don't wear any, I do recommend putting on a touch. Men, if it’s an afternoon shoot you may want to shave again.
Payment:
The session fee is $150 which is due prior to the mini-session. This fee reserves your time with the photographer and therefore is not refundable. However, you may reschedule your time slot if there is space available or use your deposit toward a full portrait session. Please call to reschedule.
After the shoot:
I will have your photos posted on a personal web gallery within one week at http://www.dejaphoto.com/LBPark-Mini-Sessions
An email with the link and your personal password will be sent to the email submitted when you sign up.
